Permit Description / Scope
**Kitchen Range:** Upgrade existing 15A gas range circuit (currently mixed 8/3 and 14/2) to a 40A (120/240V) circuit. Replace the existing 14/2 portion of the circuit with new 8/3 NM-B from an attic junction box to the range location. Install NEMA 14-50R receptacle. Install a dedicated EGC to the attic junction box from a known good 10AWG ground in an existing nearby junction box per NEC 250.130(c) and table 250.122.
- Panel: Replace existing 15A single-pole breaker with a new 40A double-pole GFCI breaker.
**Kitchen MWBC Correction:** Correct existing nonconforming modifications to the original 12/3 kitchen MWBC. Replace existing undersized 14/2 cable serving the final two receptacles with new 12/3 NM-B cable. Replace existing 14/3 splice segment in the homerun with new 12/3 NM-B cable.
- Panel: Install (2) new 20A single-pole AFCI breakers with an approved handle tie.
**Relocate 15A Branch Circuit:** Move an existing 14/2 branch circuit (which was previously tapped from the kitchen MWBC splice) to its own new 15A branch circuit utilizing existing spare THHN conductors that run from the service panel to an existing attic junction box.
- Panel: Install a new 15A GFCI breaker.
**Bedrooms & Living Room:** Install a new dedicated 20A branch circuit using existing spare THHN conductors (a completely separate pair from the THHN conductors mentioned above) that run from the service panel to an existing attic junction box. On this new circuit install (2) new convenience receptacles in Bedroom 1 (1) new closet light fixture with a wall switch in Bedroom 2 and (2) new convenience receptacle in the Living Room.
- Panel: Install new 20A AFCI breaker.
